High standard
For the production of window joinery, wood is specially prepared, because the technology of manufacturing the glued wood profiles demands careful preparation of materials. The first stage is the selection of raw material - the best wood is selected, without knots, grey and discolored spots. Then the wood is subjected to a drying process (up to 12-13%, depending on the species of wood) and impregnation (against fungi and against mold.) After the preparation, the boards are glued in three, four layers, and then laid in such a way, that the internal stresses appearing in the wood abate each other, and the profile remains straight. This is currently the best way to eliminate the wood defects, such as warping due to the changing humidity conditions. After gluing, it has better technical parameters than a solid wood with the same cross-section.
On the outer side of a window casing and sashes, we placed the aluminium drip cap, which prevents the destruction of window elements that are most exposed to the UV radiation, and which ensures tightness against rainwater penetration.
Each element of the window is hand ground and covered four varnish coatings of the best quality. We offer the option of painting the windows with an opaque paint in RAL colors, or with transparent or semi-transparent varnishes (glazes). You can also order windows with a different color on the outside and on the inside. The use of transparent or semi-transparent wood varnishes perfectly emphasizes the natural texture and the grain of wood.
